I have the following information from public and private sources: 1. The source of the worm was Cornell - sendmail logs indicate worm testing there late last month. 2. The perpetrator is one Robert Morse, Jr., a CS graduate student there. 3. His father is apparently head of the National Computer Security Center, the NSA's public effort in computer security. Good Night, and have a Pleasant Tomorrow. Erik E. Fair apple!fair fair@apple.com
