Many of us are getting multiple copies of mailings to the phage
list due to our also being on the "nntp-managers" list.
Since I think we may want this list to remain around for a few
weeks, I'd like to resolve this problem by dropping
"nntp-managers" from the list (I originally put it on there as
a fast way of getting mail to a large number of Internet sites).

Enclosed is a list of current "phage" recipients.  If you got
this mail and your address is not in this list, either directly
or as part of an alias like "usenet," "postmaster," or "system"
then you need to send me mail if you want to remain on the list.
As of approximately midnight Monday I will remove the nntp-managers
redirection from the list.
