Although aliases override .forward files, I have a ~uucp/.forward (that uucp doesn't own) pointing at postmaster anyway. Like using a diaphragm with a condom. This is important at sites that allow people to mung the aliases file (although I think mode 777 aliases are becoming a relic of the past). ..Bob
