Here is what little information I have on the current Arpa/Milnet
mailbridge outage:

>PRESS RELEASE FROM DCA:
>
>DCA is having problems with the mailbridges that connect MILNET and ARPANET.
>They were loopedback 28 november at 2200 hours EST. They will remain
>unavailable for 48 hours. This is a glitch and not another virus.
>However DCA is taking advantabe of the loopback to determine what the
>effects of disabling the mailbridges are to users. The NIC is collecting
>user statements and forwarding them to the MILNET manager. The phone number
>is 800-235-3155 if you want to make a statement.

I have called the NIC and registered my complaint.
