Disclaimer:  I am speaking for myself - any opinions, implied or

One small modification to Gene's suggestion:  I believe that this case
could be qualified as a class-action suit rather than a series of
individual cases.  The benefits to doing it this way are many:  1)
Whoever has to testify, only has to testify once.  2)  Legal fees for
the plaintiffs are smaller (much) for each plaintiff.  3)  One suit
can be settled in a much shorter time than many and generally
represents a lesser burden on an already struggling court system.  4)
I may be wrong, but I believe the court systems generally give
precedence to class actions - scheduling them ahead of other civil
actions.
